MOULD-MASTIC - II ®

Mould-Mastic II, is an easy to use mould adhesive / sealant material. The improved formulation is supplied in convenient 400 ml industry standard cartridges for use with standard DIY skeleton applicator guns. A selection of screw on nozzles is included in each pack.

The material can be used on all chemically bonded 'hard' sand systems.

The main advantages over alternative products are:-

  • Allows for a thinner sealant bead to be used, thus reducing the possibility of excess joint line flash.
  • The improved low viscosity formulation remains workable down to 6° C.
  • Readily breaks down in thermal sand reclamation systems.


    • The material has also tenacious adhesive characteristics, and moulds which have been closed for more than 15 minutes, are difficult to re-open without causing damage.

    Mould-Mastic presents no human contact hazards and has minimal fume and environmental risk.
